Vietnamese Treat in George Town | Huong Que Restaurant @ Lebuh Melaka

Vietnam remains to be the one of countries that I am longing to visit. It comes even closer to my heart, owing to its cuisine. I was first introduced to Vietnamese when I was in CA back in 1999. Aromatic Vietnamese coffee is simply irresistible coupled with paper thin spring roll and tantalizing savory pho (Vietnamese Beef Noodles). I guess it was my first love hence I can hardly forget them.

Fast forward to the present – I live on a resort island that is nicknamed The Food Paradise hence all kind of flavors are within reach.
The recent indulgence in food brought us to uncover an authentic Vietnamese restaurant at Lebuh Melaka in the artery of Penang George Town. Huong Que – that’s the given name for this lovely eatery. Rustic, it is tucked away in a row of colonial structures within a walking distance from the famous landmark on Jalan Dato’ Kramat – Penang Times Square. Under this roof, the local folks are running the customers facing operation while genuine Vietnamese chefs work in their kitchen.
