Tucked away in a strip of mall a block away from North Lamar Blvd H.E.B., Together Restaurant serves a variety of authentic Korean cuisine. Austin is an Asian friendly city thus getting Korean food is not challenging as long as one is willing to do a bit of homework. From the online review, Together Restaurant is rated as a decent restaurant so we gave it a shot on one of the summer weekends. As we entered into the restaurant, we were greeted by a Korean lady and then ushered to a table. Apparen… |

If one happens to visit Ameyoko Market Street, Japanese food is one thing should not be missed here. Reasonably priced and delectable, I guess that's the reason locals flock and grab something to tuck in. The aroma of the food and visual temptation are hard to resist. Guided by our instinct, we picked a simple Japanese restaurant to chow down. Everything on the signboard at its facade is in Japanese except the name - Gindaco and the pictures of what they serve. People say a picture tells more th… |

Serving only 'fried fish beehoon mee' or better elaborated as stir-fried rice vermicelli/yellow noodles with deep fried fish, Goh Chew Coffee Shop is a popular venue for breakfast in George Town, Penang. Occupied tables with people is a common scene as one walks into the coffee shop especially on weekends and public holidays. Located less than 50 m from Sunway Hotel, Goh Chew Coffee Shop sits along the famous New Lane (Lorong Baru) food street that attracts foodies from outstation or local to fl… |
