 Just about 15 minutes after I had embarked on the jungle trekking of Penang Longest Trail, the left side of my shoes decided to disintegrate after crossing the first stream. Oh no! The outsole was detached from the insole. Lightning never strikes twice in the same place but it did happen to me that day. As soon as I had succeeded the second stream, the outsole of my right side also burst and left me with nothing to spare. I have been wishing to walk on this trail since several years ago, so tur… |

 The rain greeted us at dawn and threw us the first challenge. God could be at work to test our willpower. On the optimistic note, it could be a holy shower blessing our journey! Our decision by instinct was to go on. |

 'WOW' spot FRIM (Forest Research Institute Malaysia) provides an opportunity to experience forest canopy walkway in the midst of concrete jungles in Kuala Lumpur.  Penang island in Malaysia has plenty of hiking trails, from the most challenging to one which is considered an easy walk. Since Penang is relatively a small island, the risk of getting dangerously lost is rather low. Hence, hiking has become one of the popular activities here.
