Happy Mothers Day - From Someone Who Is Coming Soon

Peekaboo! This was the favorite word uttered by my friend's toddler when we took him out shopping last week. Playing hide and seek along the aisle and suddenly appearing behind a row of dresses and shouted out 'Peekaboo'! I think he was enjoying his day out with us and I found his expression was entertaining.

Well, toddlers are generally at a matured age that could write and perhaps start making the first Mother's Day card to appreciate their mommies. Alternatively, countless of ready made card are available commercially for the dad and toddler to secretly shop for one.  Pick from the shelf, scribble something and here you go -  a surprise for mommy!

Yet there is something that the strike me while I was browsing a magazine lately. Mother's Day card for a woman who is expecting especially if this is going to be her first baby. No doubt there is no physical appearance yet, but everybody knows this special little one is on the way to see this world. A permanent 'new' boss at your residence, perhaps for another 18 years or more. Aha! Life has given you the greatest miracle of all. Congratulations.

This year is indeed a full-arriving year, getting news that one after another are lining up moon after moon to deliver a tiger (Chinese horoscope is Tiger this year) baby from Feb till almost end of the year.

To my dearest sister, cousins, friends and mommies in the world that are expecting, here on behalf of your coming-soon child wishes you:

Mommy, Mommy, Mommy

You mean a million to me

My home, my play yard, my world, my rejoice

Count down my days to a secret rendezvous

To meet you and daddy

Happy Mother's Day!

Love - Junior a.k.a. Your Little One
