A typical watercress soup is usually prepared with spare ribs. I choose to try it differently, using meat or pork balls. In addition, I also combine with fresh corn and slices of carrot. This is my first attempt but I could not believe it, the soup is indeed very sweet. The natural flavor from the vegetables and pork are indeed mouth-watering. Or perhaps this is what people said 'The beginner's luck!'. I just couldn't wait to jot down in my favorite recipe collections.

Want to give it a try? Check out the ingredients and direction as below.
Ingredients 2 cup watercrest - throughly rinsed 4 cup water 1/4 pound ground pork - marinated with salt, pepper and corn starch 1/8 cup carrot - diagonally sliced 1 comb fresh corn - cut into 4 pieces salt to taste
Method 1. Pour water into a medium size saucepan. Add corn and carrot and bring to boil. 2. Once it has boiled, roll ground pork into balls and add into the soup. 3. After pork is cooked, turn to medium heat and simmer for 30 minutes. 4. Add water crest and simmer for another 10 minutes. 5. Season with salt. 6. Serve hot.
Bon Appetit!
