Have you been to Heaven and Hell? Curious of how they look like? Ever thought of paying a visit to Heaven and Hell at least once?

Born with curiosity as an innocent human, all of us always wonder how these places appear like. We were at Hua Seng Keng Temple not too long ago and had a chance to experience these 'special' places.
Hua Seng Keng Temple (from left-clockwise): Kuan Yin Statue, Opera Stage and Entrance
Located in the midst of Gula Oil Palm Estate, Hua Seng Keng was coincidentally celebrating some special occasion as we saw opera hall was put-up right at the entrance into this temple. Plenty of cars occupied the internal parking area. Buses  with loads of people were parked outside. Some temporary eatery stalls were set-up in the temple compound to welcome its devotees or visitors.
A pair of milk storks above the root
Hua Seng Keng Temple is a Chinese temple with Taoist influence judging from the statues, design and its architecture. As we entered, there is a beautifully decorated Chinese arch with a pair of milky storks and some neon.

A staircase above the prayer hall leads us to enjoy the view from above, overlooking the entrance of Hua Seng Keng Temple . It is an open air walkway. As we walked towards the end, there is a statue of Goddess of Mercy in standing posture with the left hand holding a vase, sprinkling us with holy water.

Leading down, there are two stairway with dragon’s head as we landed on the ground level. Our exploration continued to the compound behind the main building. There is field with 12 Chinese horoscopes statues built from concrete.
Boar, Dragon and Tiger are among 12 Chinese Horoscopes
Beside this compound, there is a stairway with gongs and bells along the sheltered walkway to reach a small altar.
The stairway to explore Heaven and Hell
This spot offers you a choice to make. If you choose to walk pass the altar and going down; this is to take you to Hell (as described in Tao faith). Otherwise, take the small path heading up that leads to Heaven! Anyway, I chose to explore both. First, we went down to ‘see’ Hell. It was well described in statues and painting.
Some scenes from down below
As tonnes of people are queuing to enter hell, there are entrance guardians and hell magistrates to judge our life account! So the punishment is based on the deficit in kindness bank account.. I guess!
More scenes of down below
If you do understand Chinese, it is definitely an advantage to pick up some good lesson here as the punishments portrayed are extremely horrible. Check out below among the view of Hell.
Enlightenment
After completed with Hell, we climbed up to Heaven. Wow.. the view here is fabulous! Flat piece of land filled with oil palm trees until reaching the horizon.
The view almost reaching the horizon!
Life up in the heaven seems much simpler surrounded by angels!
