Floral Material
Deep pink roses (bought from Cameron Highlands), Baby's Breath and yellow Aster as the fillers.

Design concept
Inspired by the wrapper of a lovely candy, 'Sweet Dreams' comes alive. Candid idea, this is a contemporary design as this composition is rarely found in floral arrangement books or references. Using a recycle ice-cream container as the floral bowl, it was wrapped with colorful gift material to resemble the wrapper of a sweet or a candy. At the middle portion, the oasis held 14 roses in a semi-circular shape (pink line illustrated below when viewing from front) unwraps the mystery of the candy sharing the sweetness of life as an expression of gratitude.
Front view - Semi-circular shape
If viewing from top, the shape is exactly like a candy!
Top view - an oval shape

Getting started:
1. Prepare the gift wrapper and fold them at opposite ends to resemble a wrapped candy. Tie with red plastic ribbon.
Top view - candy wrapper and flower bowl
Angled front view - Wrapping is done
2. Chop the oasis to fit the shape of the floral bowl.

3. Compose from front view and top view.
4. Start with the middle stalk of a rose to create a balance composition. Then, make these roses into a semi-circular shape at front view.

On top view, these roses will show an oval shape.
5. Insert the curly tea leaves and capitalize the nice leaves from roses.
Foliages are added on
6. Introduce the yellow aster as fillers.

7. Add on Baby's Breath to brighten the arrangement. Deep pink and white are simply perfect match of colors!

Hi Shirley,
Sweet dreams in its name creates a illusionary setting more-so when the shape of the arrangements takes that of a candy.

clearly goes to show great creativity and deep passion ! Keep up the dream and bring it to reality.

Cheers,
Sue
