After leaving the ground of The Grand Palace, we took a left turn back to the main road where the three elephants statue is and walked towards south along the wall of The Grand Palace. That afternoon was hot and luckily we brought along an umbrella for shade. Rain or shine, we were determined to make it.At the end of the wall, there is a junction, we made a right turn and several tourist buses were there. Yup, we were getting closer to the entrance of Wat Pho. It is open from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm a… |

One of the most important tools to carry around during your travels must be your trusty little (or large) camera. The image of a tourist totting his or her camera round the neck comes to mind. And it is important to capture images from your travels such that when you regale with the tales of your exploits on your return home, these photographs will be a testament of the grandeur, beauty and the exoticness of the places that you trot upon. Off course it would have been better if your photos can a… |

Have you heard the wedding tune in the church when the bride's father walked his daughter along the aisle, it will always start with... ten ten ten ten...ten ten ten ten..(and the music goes on and on..)Same happens for us except our version is a bit shorter. We only have 'ten ten' which is equivalent to 10-10 or 1010. This is a special lucky number that marked our wedding date and today is our 4th wedding anniversary. My Significant Other has reminded me that I have a date with him tonight. Som… |

Early this week, the world had another shock with melamine related issue - melamine tainted vegetables or melamine contamination was reported in Korea on the fruits and vegetables imported from China. Sources from Taiwan News quoted that the affected vegetables on the melamine alert includes tomato, celery and mushroom. So far, there is not much information on how melamine could be found in vegetables from China. In my opinion, I doubt melamine functions similarly like the case in melamine tainte… |

After being told that Mamma Mia is more like a musical show than just the movie, I decided to drag my hubby along to the theatre. After all, both of us are ABBA fan. Well, although we missed the first 10 minutes of this movie, we could sense the fun and high spirit in the beginning of the movie itself. No doubt it is the songs that bring out the character of the movie, but the fun part is really about 'seeing' the songs come alive . If you could agree with me, it is the songs and the acting tha… |

As I mentioned in my earlier installment, no matter how hard I pestered my Significant Other (SO), he was still not going to reveal 'the' place we were going to dine on our Anniversary night. So last night was 'D' day and he drove steadily along Tanjung Bungah Road, and I was thinking we could be heading to Batu Ferringghi for dinner. Suddenly, he made a turn into Hillside area, and my suspicion was Ingolf - The German Restaurant. Yeah, it must be Ingolf! Only the moment he switched off the car … |

Known as top tourist attraction, The Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew were among the top three itineraries in our Bangkok visit. Having said that, it took us two days and three attempts to reach The Grand Palace after we had arrived in Bangkok! If you read my previous article, we were somehow being diverted by the touts on our first and second attempt to reach this significant landmark of Bangkok. As soon as we saw the signboard and Grand Palace buildings (from our wild guess) by the road side, we… |

Chao Phraya River Cruise was never in our itinerary but somehow we were being 'convinced' to try. This cruise began from Rajinee pier (N7), going along Chao Phraya River. After passing by Wat Arun, the boatman took a left turn into a canal in the heart of Thonburi.Wat Arun viewing from Chao Phraya river. |
