With the arrival of our little one, we have been looking for some decent places to dine the hawker food. Our requirement is simple, as long as it is a clean and baby friendly (particularly without cigarette's smoke) preferably with air-conditioned, we are good to be there. Despite so, the simple rules leave us out with limited choices since hawker centers and Chinese kopitiams are 'polluted' yet food varieties are plenty!
Plus 2 Restaurant is not a new venue to us, we frequent Plus 2 pretty often for their Chinese of family style dining. This Chinese restaurant somehow suits our appetite as well as our pocket. Our favorite are Marmite Chicken that is served with mantou and curry fish aside from their nice wanton mee. But it was only recently, we found out that Plus 2 also serves wanton noodle for breakfast. Something that we overlooked in the past!

Known as the Penangites' favorite breakfast among the Chinese, wanton noodle is an egg noodle served with BBQ pork, vegetables and wanton dumplings. Plus 2 offers both 'dried' and 'wet' versions of wanton noodle. Dried wanton noodle is a blend of egg noodle with soy sauces and spices, served on a platter with blanched cai xin (green leafy vegetables) and slices of BBQ pork. Oppositely, the 'wet' version is prepared from egg noodles with same accompaniments but flood in a bowl of soup with a few pork dumplings (wanton).
I prefer the dried wanton mee all the time. What is different with Plus 2 wanton mee is I could smell the fragrance of sesame oil as well compares to others. I also like the texture of their egg noodle, being smooth and solid and perhaps less likely to expand as well (I think).
