Shopping is always made easy in KL (Kuala Lumpur) as mushrooming giant shopping malls usually come with good accessibility by all kind of transportation. One of the most convenience shopping malls accessible by LRT (Light Rail Transit) and it is rain or shine free is Suria KLCC. Suria in Malaysian language means 'Sunshine'.

Located at the feet of Petronas Twin Towers - the tallest twin towers in the world, Suria Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) was opened to public on 31 August 1999. Total of six levels, Suria KLCC houses mostly luxury shops, fashionable boutiques besides cafes and posh restaurants as well as twelve screens TGV Cinema, Kinokuniya Book Shop, Science Discovery Centre (PetroSains), Banking ATM/facilities and many more. Among the major retailers or anchor tenants are Isetan, Cold Storage Supermarket, Marks & Spencer, Parkson, Signature Level 2 Food Court and Rasa Food Arena.
Interior of Suria KLCC
Behaving as a one-stop centre for shopping, leisure, entertainment and education, what I like most about KLCC Suria is the urban sanctuary park designed with rhythmic fountains, lake and wading pool. It also provides benches, children playground, walking and jogging path under many shady trees for family outings. A stroll in the evening is refreshing while enjoying the breathtaking sights of Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower from a afar.

If you wish to experience a walk on the Skybridge (where it connects both towers) of Petronas Twin Towers at 41st and 42nd floors, get one of 1640 tickets issued daily (except on Monday) at ticketing counter at base level as early as possible (I heard the ticketing counter opens at 8:30am but during Malaysian school holidays, queue may start as early as 6:00 amLaughing!). Entrance admission is free but only ticket holders are allowed to visit the Skybridge. For details, please call +60-3-2331 8080 or visit Suria KLCC official website here.
